Where to find us and directions
Train – Traveling by train is comfortable, environmentally friendly and stress-free and is therefore a good start for your Rhineland holiday. Remagen has an inter-regional train station with excellent connections for IC and EC trains from Bonn, Cologne and Koblenz.
Car – Traveling by car is just as easy thanks to the excellent transport links to the motorways. When traveling from the A61 on the left bank of the Rhine from the north or south, take the “Remagen / Sinzig” exit and follow the signs for the B9 to Remagen. In Remagen simply follow the green hotel signs. When coming from the right bank of the A3, take the A48 south of Koblenz and follow the B9 in the direction of Bonn to Remagen. From the north follow the signs to Cologne airport and take the A59 to B9 to Bonn-Bad Godesberg, and go on to Remagen.
Plane – For guests traveling by plane, the nearest airport is Cologne (50 km). The Lufthansa airport-shuttle runs every 20 minutes to Bonn (about 4 EUR per person) with connecting trains direct to Remagen (about 7 EUR per person). Or take the train directly from Cologne airport to to Remagen. A taxi transfer will cost about 62 EUR. The journey time from the airport takes less than an hour. From Frankfurt Airport (140 km), take the train via Koblenz to Remagen (1 ½ hours journey time, about 22 EUR pp). From Düsseldorf (120 km), take the train via Cologne to Remagen (about 15 EUR pp).
Boat – To reach us by boat from Cologne or Mainz, travel with the KD´s “White Fleet” – The Cologne to Düsseldorf shipping group. From Bonn, we recommend taking the BPS – “Bonner Passenger Schiffahrt” with the owner managed modern passenger ships.
Cycling – Cycling enthusiasts can reach us from both north and south of the Rhine by following the Rhine Cycle Path from Bonn or Koblenz. From the Rhine promenade, follow the green signs or ask at the station.
On foot – Walk to Remagen on the Rhine Alpine Path, which leads directly to the railway station. The River-Rhine-Route leads to the Rhine promenade and from there you can get to the city center.
